Even more pirate facts arrrrgh

Each pirate ship had its own set of rules and code. Almost every pirate ship had their own set of guidelines that all pirates had to agree to. This included how the loot would be divided, who had what chores, and what was expected of everyone. Believe it or not, one of the most common rules was no fighting onboard. If two pirates had a disagreement they’d have to wait, and fight on land.

The English word “pirate” is derived from the Latin term “pirata” which means sailor or sea robber and from the Greek word “peirates” which literally means “one who attacks ships.”

The Bird is the Word

The spelling of the word wasn’t standardized until the eighteenth centuries and “pirrot,” “pyrate,” and “pyrat,” were commonly used until then. Maybe “parrots” got confused and thought they were pirates as well.

lol Im sure my parrot Bluebeard would agree lol

Cerf proposed the bet and challenged that Dr. Seuss would not be able to write an entertaining children's book using only 50 different words. Dr. Seuss took the bet and won. The result was a little book called Green Eggs and Ham.

If Runescape were a country it would have the fifth largest population in the world.
How does this relate to other countries' populations?

63% the size of America

3.21 times the size of the UK

8.97 times the size of Australia

Wowzers lol

Thank you for your compliments :)
We try to make this recruitment area fun for all to read :)

Oh have you heard of Paul Potts? He first appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2007
Mr. Potts sang Nessun Dorma for his audition. Nussun if you have not watched it its worth a watch; he does not have the range as Pavarotti has but for someone who is raw and new he is pretty amazing.

In kind regards

~~Misty~~
