~The origin~
Little do you know the dark history of the clan known as age of ancients. For years hundreds even thousands have come and gone from its halls of war and prosperity. I warn you this is not a tale of wealth and democracy, but that of civil war and horrific tyrants. Beginning in late 2007, the young leader 4saken evil unknowingly was to start a legacy that would be talked about for ages to come in all corners of runescape.
4saken evil like the rest of us had a burning passion for the skill of magic and its powers of destruction. He decided to build on this passion by forming the clan dark magic. Players would start to line up one by one trying to join this prestigious clan. Very few would be turned away. The clan quickly escalated to that of immense proportion, being one of the most powerful group of warriors the land of gielinor has even laid eyes upon.

But as guthix demands balance such a grand scale of power could not come without corruption. Like zamorak’s plot against zaros a seed of evil was planted within dark magic’s ranks, only to sit and grow waiting for its chance to strike. This seed too many of us is known as zakura mage.
Zakura’s chance was approaching. The long loved leader of dark magic, 4saken evil was to step down from his position leaving it ripe for the taking. All the time the seed spent under the hard dry soil gave it some time to grow anger with its lack of nurturing.
Zakura mage claimed leadership of dark magic. Immediately changes were made to the once prosperous clan, many dark and terrible changes. Members fled the clan as quickly as possible hoping to escape with their lives. One had a better idea. Sty but a long held general of dark magic would start a resistance.

Starting with only three members sty but’s group of anarchists would strive to remove zakura from his reign of power. Soon as others had come to since with zakura’s rage, they would leave to join the rebels and fight to reclaim their beloved clan.
It is said that every once in a while everyone makes a mistake. Guthix is no exception. Realizing his mistake a beacon of hope would remain in the clan. And it would grow just as the seed of evil, for eventually its day would come.
For many months war would rage between dark magic and sty’s resistance. Little did zakura know sty had a new ally. The leader of divine mafia gw josep1 would come to aid against the tyrant. Dark magic was finally starting to lose the battle. Until one day all fighting ceased.
4saken evil, the grand leader of dark magic would return at word of zakura mage’s tyranny. Guthix’s seed was about to spurt. Fates design the long trusted general in zakura’s army would claim leadership over the clan. Zakura would flee the lands taking his minions with him. The clan would once again be able to rebuild and mend its wounds.
Once again the great clan of dark magic would prosper. It would grow to such a size that the politics of the clan was the talk throughout world 76 and much of the clan recruitment forums. To be in dark magic was enough for someone to come to your aid in time of need. Many had tried to defeat dark magic, but none would prevail. One by one clans would ally with the superpower of world 76 making it an unstoppable force.
Unfortunately all this pressure is a lot for one man to take. Fates would begin to show the wither of the weight of the clan weighing down on him. He was strong, but one man can only take so much. He would pass on the clan to a well-known politic within the clan, Krzykarmaaa.
Krzy had it all. The leadership of the most powerful clan in runescape, the undying trust of his members, hundreds of millions of gold pieces, the skills, the looks everything would go well for him.

Krzy did not have the same burning passion for magic as the other leaders. He proposed a new plan to promote skilling within the clan.
The proposal was popular and its members would find it to be most accommodating. The overall wealth of the clan began to skyrocket as members put down their ancient staves for a rune hatchet. This is also known as the golden era of dark magic for no wars were fought during krzy’s rule. One fateful day krzy disappeared and became inactive for large amounts of time. No one knows where he went to or why. Just that he came back once to pass on his leadership. Bradz magic would claim his golden scepter.
Bradz was a simple man. He was happy with a set of rune armor and a dragon long sword. While he didn’t know much of how to lead the clan, he had been loyal to it from the beginning. While not much would occur during his leadership the clan would continue to prosper but would turn to the occasional clan war just for fun. His rule had lasted so long that an inpatient silver tonged lieutenant known as pain of lust, and his war mongering trustee killborn would approach brad with their long drawn plan to place pain as the new leader of the clan. Brad did not take the plan well, but after days of talk he would eventually surrender the clan to pain.
Pain of lust’s rule is the second longest in the history of the clan. It began just as brad had left it, prospering but it needed more activity. Pain would start the tradition of mandatory weekly meetings that would go on for hours. For while Pain had led the clan he would always ask his new general, killborn for advice. Together they formed a friendly Reich from the clan. Most of the clan allies backed out of partnership with dark magic. Only killborn’s close ties with the divine mafia would keep dark magic safe from war.

As nearly a year passes and killborn grows tired of pain’s leadership and wishes it for himself. He began by asking divine mafia for assistance. Its leader would back him all the way in removing pain from leadership. But pain had caught scent of the plot and would take the matter into his own hands becoming the equivalent of the long lost dictator zakura. Eventually war after war with hours of argument in the political hall of dark magic killborn would become leader.
Unfortunately this was a dark time in the once mighty clan. Killborn had to regain all of the members lost after pain had forced them all out. He worked day and night to build it back to its former glory. The clan had finally returned to its deep roots of magic. Knowing that he would not have the time to lead the clan full time he would have to pass it on. But to whom is the question. Glad to have played his part in the clan’s history he leaves it to the past leader bradz magic.
Brad did not want to lead dark magic but he would do what he had to so it would remain alive while he did not officially lead the clan now he would search for a new worthy leader. For months the clan’s leadership would pass from person to person. Leaderless until an ancient mage had returned from the depths. Kudzoo would come to claim his rightful place as leader of dark magic.

Nearly as soon as kudzoo returned, so did zakura. And he was back for blood. Zakura played by the rules of kudzoo as long as he could stand. But like any greedy zamorikan he couldn’t not stand to see a zarosian at the throne. Zakura would form a false dark magic. While civil war between dark magic would rage for weeks. The true leader of dark magic, kudzoo could not stand to see the clan go through so much pain.
On July 16th 2011 Kudzoo, jaydeecakes, waydeecakes, meo0, and cody manhard would join at the newly formed clan camp to forge the clan age of ancients. The bond of its members was so strong that not even the zakura mage could penetrate the safe haven it formed.
Slowly the pretender zakura would fade from the history of the clan. Known only by ancient scribes much like Nova Fission would he be spoken of. Today the clan is the largest it has ever been. It has a strong economic structure along with bonds of friendship that not even death himself could sever.
Kudzoo, the longest ruling leader of the clan still holds his position today. No one would dare question his authority as there is no need to. The tale of the clan’s leaders continues. For now may we prosper in peace and balance.

Special thanks to uhhh... well no one :l.
The story may continue if kud gets assassinated or something.
Will probably write my personal story with the clan or someone elses, like the real andy nash. not the pretenders "the real" andy nash.

Any ways i give full permissions of use of the short story to AoA kudzoo and Nova Fission for either clan or personal use.
