I love this game so much! I love that when I'm playing my client randomly closes on me costing me time, frustration, and money in game from deaths! It's honestly the best thing ever. I love spending money on a game that won't fix issues with its own client. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Yeah, the RuneScape client hasn't been 100% stable for a while. I remember getting an error message whenever it crashed, but recently it hasn't even been doing that; just, as you say, it now just starts stuttering for a couple of seconds, then closes.

I've even had it happen after completely factory-resetting my computer (long story) and reinstalling RuneScape, so I don't think it's the result of software conflicts; it seems to be an issue with the client itself.

Have you noticed any similarities between the instances of the crashes occurring? It may help with getting a fix, if information is gathered on each instance of a crash, so a pattern, or common factor can be established; it's possibly worth creating a thread, in order to collate this data from folks.

I haven't had this issue, since returning, but have had similar happen in the past; not sure if it's the same problem, or a new one, but either way, it'd be useful to get it fixed.

same issues I've been starting to get about 2 and a half months ago,idk what updates they did that started it but it wasn't wayyyy too long after zamorak came out as a boss..... it seems MTXgex has abandoned us, do they even care at this point?...........

Just because your client is working OK don't assume everyone else's is. Have some sympathy for those of us that have issues with the client.

My client has not worked properly in 2 months due to an issue where the client keeps making my CPU run at 100% usage. It is NOT my PC or connection. It IS due to an issue with the client which on my support request Jagex admits to. The only way I can play RS at all is by using the client in compatibility mode which severely limits what I can do as the frame rate is terrible. I cannot go anywhere that is very graphic intensive, like Sentisten or Anachronia and it is impossible to fight any monster that uses special attacks as the attacks have hit my character before I see them coming.

exactly, MTXgex hasn't fixed anything in like 3 months now, mine will just stutter the fuck out out pf nowhere and crash, all theycare about is trying to pump out more horseshit MTXgex brand MTX BS that looks like shit, is shit and overpriced anyways for shit that does nothing instead of fixing this busted piece of shit client
