xmas wrapping paper not workin

I was mining Banite Ore at Azure skillchompas for approximately 2 hours tonight without receiving any Christmas Wrapping Papers... I did not notice at first, as I was watching a movie and mining on my phone, but then I checked and saw I was still at 5200, which was the same that I was at before I went to mine Banite... I was mining on the east rocks, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I was mining in the mining guild around xmas time and I was getting loads of wrapping papers and had a great time cashing them in.

I am trying to think back to other places I have noticed where I was not getting any wrapping paper... I know there were other activities but I cannot remember what they all were now.
Why can we not log in to OSRS and RS3 at the same time, so we can play both games? Yall know how much of a grind it is, and not everyone can afford to pay for multiple memberships. Dedicate 1 account to receive the chat. Maybe through Jagex Launcher?

I meant to say, I went and did archeology afterwards and I noticed that I was receiving christmas wrapping papers... I am not sure why I did not with the Banite ore though.....
Why can we not log in to OSRS and RS3 at the same time, so we can play both games? Yall know how much of a grind it is, and not everyone can afford to pay for multiple memberships. Dedicate 1 account to receive the chat. Maybe through Jagex Launcher?
