I've removed a political post (and one that quoted it).

@Levana, apologies for having to hide your post, here's a copy of it without the quoted bit.

What in Guthix's verdant overgrown buttocks does that have to do with the price of tea in Prifddinas? Please kindly go and make Trollheim great again...

I will say they think that makes me the saddest is the selling of ingame boosts and not small little ones removing the need for candles in necromancy and making it possiable to get thru TH was unnecessary...
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Just my two cents from a returning older player. I was really looking forward to my first holiday event from a long hiatus from this game. This event is beyond a letdown with both the rewards being either mostly garbage or the 1-4 items worth actually getting being so rng based that there is no incentive to actually play for them.

A rare drop from a holiday event shouldn't require more than 2-3 parties a day over the duration of the event. Anyone that is receiving these items is either playing an unhealthy amount of rs, spending an unhealthy amount gambling, or is exceptionally lucky.

Just my observation. Not going to quit or threaten to quit but not my best impression of a game i grew up with but feels like it's lost its direction at times.

Holiday events should make players happy. Current MTX and luck based events leave many players sad and bitter.

Holiday event rewards should be something that everyone can get with little effort. Not like now where some players get handed hundreds of millions or even billions worth of items based on pure luck, when other players get absolutely nothing regardless of effort and time they spend participating in event.

I tried this event, and pretty quickly decided it wasn't worth focusing on.
Would it be fun to have an orange mask? Sure.
But it is a lot more fun to run around in my skeleton suit playing with Eek, as I go about more productive tasks than getting frustrated trying to do pumpkin parties IF I happen to log in around the time one is happening.
Must agree, it would be great if the old-style events were to return, with a fun task for a special reward that becomes a treasured memento simply from being here and participating.
But that ship has apparently long sailed.
This particular "holiday event" makes me nearly long for one of the xp-grindfest events that were the "holiday" norm preceding this: at least at one of the grinds, you got something for putting the time in, and could chat with others while doing so.
