Premier Club 2023, yak track, new bond items in marketplace and black friday solomon's sale.

I'd love to get all of these but I will have to pass on some right now. And jagex is neglecting solomon's store again, same items I got months ago are on sale right now so the black friday solomon's sale is useless.

There's too much milking with fomo promos right now and that's not good.

Most of the playerbase doesn't have 2.5b to spare to spend on bonds for getting all these promos. Even more, if a new color of santa or hween comes out next month or gsh/pween gets rereleased next month.

Jagex needs to chill out on the spam of fomo promos at the same time. Why does this keep happening almost every month? Not just talking about how promos line up at the spending season, but how this keeps happening every month this year.

Especially with the yak track being leaked that the free pass doesn't have any cosmetics at all, which is ridiculous.

Why is the carlyle group never satisfied with their mtx profits?

This problem stems very, very far from FOMO and it lays with Jagex just trying to abuse as much MTX things as they can to attract players to spend $$.

The fact that they are not only having trouble with MTX and such, but the content is horrid, imagine the players who didn't partake in this FSW event and how bored to death they are. All because Jagex wanted to try to force the followers into the FSW servers, it's all really bad and I'm surprised they are trying to play it all out.

It's like watching a hurricane just destroy a great city for years, this company just doesn't want to stop doing the same thing's over and over and it's eventually going to catch up to them with the players who trusted Jagex.

I've said this before but players do pay membership fees and dealing with all of this is literally absurdly insane, it would be different if the game was ACTUALLY free to play but it's not, and it would still be shunned upon as people have paid membership fees for 20+ years. There's literally no loyalty within this company anymore and it's purely about the company making a profit.

i hate mtx, but i dont see the new bond stuff as mtx as they usually do it

i recon 250 bank spaces is a beaut thing to have option to purchase, but its bonds, you can buy in game

the main benifit of premium was the 100 bank spaces, this is 250 permanent spaces for £35 rl money or 7 bonds ingame

this progresses my characters gameplay not devaluate it

emptying bank 10 times a day isnt fun

They postoned the biggest update this year(Removing max cash limit) So, they can make more monies in their Q4 earnings.

i wouldnt say that is the reason

they are doing something with literal cash stack. this has to have 0 bugs on release. thats most likely the reason it was postponed.... lolool

I agree 110% with this. The Jagex I once loved and defended is dead, as the thread in my signature says. It's clear to me now (this current server issue was final proof) that they just want RS and OSRS to become the cash cows to fund future growth and profit. To Jagex, it's no longer about doing what's best for the games or the playerbase. Now, it's all about milking the current players dry because they have ambitions to become the next Epic Games with their own launcher, publishing and so forth. It's ridiculous.

I already vowed that I wouldn't give Jagex another cent until they cleaned up their act. Now, I'm DEFINITELY not. Bonds only, from now on. I still want Jagex to improve because I still love this game. My anger comes from the way this once-awesome indie studio has become just another cold corpo. My anger also comes from the fact that people don't see this and will still hand Jagex $80+/year despite being frustrated. I get that bonds are expensive, I really didn't think I'd be able to swing it for my 2023 Premier, but I was determined to do it because I love this game, but I utterly refuse to support Jagex. Perhaps, if more players did this all at once, it'd be enough to wake Jagex up and show them that every other time they did something that was unnecessarily greedy, people quit or, at least, significantly reduced their play time.

Wake the crap up, Jagex, and quit killing OUR game. Yes, OUR game. You don't deserve to claim ownership to this beautiful game that was created by people like the rest of us. This was one of the few MMOs not initially made by a large corporation. It was always meant to be that way, and Jagex, you are handling this with remarkable levels of incompetence, irresponsibility and greed. ~

They make more money this way. If you play the game and are able to pay the 1 year premier rate that is the best way to protest.

I concur, I always pondered on why people haven't revolted against Jagex yet, and then I actually noticed that they already have with OSRS.

Aside from that I noticed that the remaining players sort of are followers, and the fact that people have in a way silently left RS3 to either OSRS or another game has helped Jagex enormously, although Jagex have taken massive hits to their RS3 player #'s.

As I've said before, this will eventually come full circle and would hurt everything the new Jagex has touched, even under a new company. New games are also coming out that actually provide all the variety content that RuneScape used to, but in a AAA manner from AAA company's, so this would only give players more reason to flee overtime.

I myself am never giving Jagex a cent as well, until maybe they properly and permanently address their PVP and minigame negligence to the community, then I might give them a few just for charity, for their kindness. I have quit the game this past year after trying to gather why and how everything has boiled down to what it has, Jagex is absolutely pathetic for what they have done.

I think they meant purchasing bonds with GP, Jagex for sure does not make more $ with players doing that, and if bond prices get to high and no one is buying memberships the company would have to do something staggering for RS3 to survive. Otherwise, they would be left with no more players to try to milk.

No idea how the thread got moved to the ranting section, this is for sure something to be slotted into the future updates section, as MTX and repeating content is something to END and should be considered a relevant suggestion for Jagex to consider, on top of all the ridiculous other things they somehow manage to get away with. Seems like some mods take anything negative towards Jagex considered as a rant, talk about controlism.

They should've at least had some bonds on sale for this whole Black Friday deal, even if there was a limitation on the amount players can get discounted. Nope let's just get the cost of bonds up unreasonably high where they are no longer an option.

I guess I can't complain exactly. Not justifying anyone against any other opinion.

How I see it is if society grows, more jobs, more spending, more MTX are sure to exist. Just like how you can cook to save money rather than eat out with the friends, you can pay for membership and other things for more entertainment.

Sorry if I view things in a weird perspective, I guess I'm looking at it in a positive angle. More MTX means more responsibility with said company.
