I really don't see any reason why the interactable part of the trees need to take up the WHOLE model of the tree, ESPECIALLY when some of the trees models are unnecessarily big.
This doesn't just go for cuttable trees. The Spirit tree in Priffdinas is a huge (get it) offender. Like sometimes I just want to mindlessly play this game with moving the camera and just click things to do it, but if I try and chop down my planted elder tree I end up going on a trip to talk to the spirit tree because it's interactable zone takes up the entirety of the screen in the foreground.
It's completely unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the game, if anything it can actively detract from the experience.
