Any form of PVP should definitely have limits to what can be exchanged or won.

Would you care to explain why?

The thing is that humans don't like limits. When you buy something in real life, there is no limit to what you can buy, how many of something you can buy, and how much you pay for it. Setting limits is an artificial way of trying to control people, and we don't like that. This is also why I dislike untradable items of any kind in a game like this, because untradable items do not exist in real life. It is again an artificial control thing.

I look at it different. To me the best gear should be untradeable versions. They could have special PVP gear that can be won or lost, and they have a somewhat limited value.

If it takes a month of playing the game to earn something, but you can win it in 10 seconds in a 'competitive' PVP situation, that is a bit silly to me.

It also takes months to level up in your combat skills so you have a chance of winning in PVP. You don't just create a new account and go out and kill another high level player. I don't see where you get those 10 seconds from.
