Why does Jagex hate us?

Between the Oddments nerf and the Magic nerf I feel like Jagex hates us, both of these nerfs made the game far worse in my own personal opinion, I won't be pvming any time soon, there are no longer 50% off in the oddment stores, this game just keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse and nobody seems to give a damn, players complain and complain and it just falls on deaf ears, players left in droves over questionable decisions due to the development team just flat out ignoring them.

We sat here and watched as bug abusers got 10,000KC with the elite dungeon bug, make billions in GP and next to nobody got banned for it, they then inflated the market by a ridiculous amount, now I'm losing GP because Jagex thought it was a good idea to act like a real bank and tax us GP, so that we lose more, don't get it confused this was never going to hurt those people manipulating prices, what it was meant to do is take away more money from the people who are already struggling, so that they feel more like they have to spend IRL money on GP, because there is no good source of GP in this game whereas the previous iterations of this game always had several good ways of making GP.

The amount of greed and questionable decisions in this game, while people complain at the top of their lungs all while falling on deaf ears is exactly why this game will never get popular again, unless things change I fear the few players this game has left will just die out, even when someone finds a good way of making money in this game, Jagex goes out of their way to nerf it, Croesus is a good example, this is because if you're earning free GP you're less likely to spend real money on Bonds and that's not good for investors, well you know what else isn't good for investors, a dead game that generates no profit.

RuneScape has been the victim of Company's that purchase the game with a expectation that they can simply make more $$ out of it than what they put into the game instantly.

Until we finally get someone with a brain that understands how much good a game like RuneScape can do for humanity we will always get mauled by these company's using every tactic in the book to feast on these great, kind and smart players that come and try to enjoy their surroundings and exercise their brains.


Honestly, for the past 10 years we have witnessed one of the most brutal underrated satanic abusing situations in video game history and they obviously targeted one of the most successful MMORPG's ever.

The company get's sold every 2-3 years, if that doesn't say insecure, unstable and concerning I don't know what else to say. 100% a hit and run

Some got 2 week temp bans so if players find a similar bug with a future released boss and make billions, getting perm banned would actually shock me and wouldn't be warranted. Players should get slaps on the wrist when the fault is with the game developer who didn't beta test the boss enough or even at all before releasing it and that this will continue to happen to the company who is so unstable they are being bought and resold to a new investor like they're on an assembly line.

how will you know if you stopped playing it. its also very subjective, you may dislike it, but many others do like it. so when its good in your eyes thats when its now not corrupt? and a good or bad game isnt a testimony on how the company is corrupt etc.

if you truly have evidence for them being corrupt or whatever it is you are saying, then go to a news outlet. not the forums. less than 1% of the population of rs use the forums, so you are in the wrong place to get your message across.

why would jagex hate their community? we are literally the ones paying their bills
