Because OSRS is nothing like old school Runescape and it's also nothing like Runescape 3.

Merging them? Yeah that'd be hard but I'm sure the backroom boys at Jagex could figure it out.

I think we should delete or rejuvenate all dead content, merge RS3 and OSRS, and have a big thriving unified MMO.

its exactly like old school runescape, because that what it is. if you were to look at an image from runescape back in the day and look at osrs now. you would say they are same game.

There's more to "OSRS" than just its appearance via screenshot / image.

How would they work it out? Iunno. As I said, not my job. Jagex technicians will figure it out.

Having 2 MMOs works horribly actually. Case in point: The endless dead content that litters the runescape world and takes up space needlessly. More players in the same worlds would likely be a solid solution to reviving a significant amount of dead content.

The HC osrs lot will not leave: Case in point: OSRS is nothing like old school Runescape anymore yet the HC osrs lot still zealously play (see my response to your failed "image" argument above)

the fact its been working well for over 10+ years now is case and point it does work well

They took sailing, but they made a critical mistake. It's not even greenlit for production and they are giving out way too much information. It could take 5-6 years to poll all the features.

Most of the work is done, RS3 could swoop in and beat them to release. It doesn't even have to be a skill.

They can have sailing. We just need the boat. That's a 1 day project.
