this should be in the website and forums section

however i made this same thread a year back or so. and a j mod did reply saying they are unable to do it and would require a complete forum overhaul and would take too much time

ill try find it

i cant find it.

either way it was a no there are more important things to do

Yea, this would definitely be helpful. As always, it'd be best if you can only send messages to friends and people that are approved. The last thing you want is for a troll to keep bugging you with nonsense. I remember this has been suggested many times before and unfortunately, in order for that to be fully implemented, these archaic Forums must be updated.

But yea, I support a way to send DMs to my friends.

Yeah Jagex should be able to find a way to update it in 2020(probably wont), lets keep fingers crossed.
