Once we have done that we now need to add the url number we got from the formula on to the end of the thread's url.
Our url number was 978. But before we stick it onto the end we have to separate the QFC number and the url number with a comma (,).
The final result looks like this.
http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/c=4MVZNmWT5KE/sl=0/forums.ws?14,15,380,65732676,978
But we are not done there. In order for that url to link to that specific post we now need to add #978 to the very end of that url to get.
http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/c=4MVZNmWT5KE/sl=0/forums.ws?14,15,380,65732676,978#978
That url is a direct link to Mod Infinity's post on page 98 on the Forum Community Helper's thread.
We are going to use this url when quoting that post.
Now for the quoting.
To quote simply type in
[black][quote][white][b]Player's name[/b] [link url=specific post url]said[/link]:
Input Text here
[/white][/quote][/black]
The reason we put black around the quote is because if you don't you get this.
Original message details are unavailable.
By putting black around the quote you effectively hide that unwanted text.
Original message details are unavailable.
Although it can easily be found by highlighting it.
To make the rest of the message appear we need to wrap [white] or any other color besides black around the main message. This is what allows the main message to appear in the quote.
After we type in the first [white] we now need to type in the [b]player's name[/b] followed by [link url=specific post url]said[/link] followed by a colon (:). Now we can line break by pressing enter a couple of times.
We now copy and paste in the message from the quoted thread.
After we have done that we finish it off by typing in [/white][/quote][/black]
