oh, and for the record, I kept my avatar for nearly 7 months this time. I'm starting to think that ex-members perhaps no longer lose their avatars, unless anyone's experienced anything different recently?
Don't know for sure on that one, but it would be nice if they made that change intentionally.

Anyone know why sometimes when I post my siggy on The FIT, it changes the first two squiggles to asterixes, and sometimes it doesn't? I'm mystified! I've fiddled about with spaces before and after the squiggles, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
The siggy is this:
