Oddments reward forum activity

I think this would be a good step from a community management pov, similarly to how Pink Skirt event attendees are drawn into a monthly Bond giveaway by Jagex community management. I happened to receive a bond by Mod Poerkie a while back myself.
The forum curators in our forum also has a 'give reward' option in threads which highlights a post and gives the user a point towards trophies. Your thread reminded me of it. This is the announcement by Invisioncommunity which is the software that we use:

All a player needs to do is persuade a fmod that their post fits one of these guidelines. They could as Kopaka suggested restrict it to purples and yellows.
However with a set of guidelines and modlogs it should be fine.
An addition to this with an internal "elections" thread the Forum team could elect which post to reward so that there's no odd post being awarded. I assume they do the same with stickied threads. But by doing so it increases the level of micromanagement from CM and without knowing how it currently works I don't want to say what is the best approach for RSOF. Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

FMods are not exactly an easily persuadable bunch. To put it mildly. Just ask any JMod who's had to explain a change in the forum rules to the people meant to apply that change

FMods are not exactly an easily persuadable bunch. To put it mildly. Just ask any JMod who's had to explain a change in the forum rules to the people meant to apply that change
