Heads Up!

Apparently it is now perfectly fine to post bug reports on the forums.

Rather than being locked (as used to be the case), they are now left open even if reported on Forum Help, or even moved between forums.

I'd love to hear the logic for this change in moderation procedure.

Does this mean that bugs reported on the forums will now be addressed by Jagex?
Are there problems with the bug report system that mean forum reports need to be accepted?

Have you been title skimming or are there actual bug reports being shuffle boarded. I know most of the titles I've seen recently discussing bugs have been intentional aspects of the game or the forums. Honestly think those folk were going for shock value so that their threads would be read.

Actual bugs are still being directed to the in-game reporting feature so that they go to the proper queue as far as I'm aware.

If you think there are threads - in this case bug threads - that shouldn't be on the forums, submit a report in Forum Help about it.

If that doesn't get actioned and you disagree with it, that's something to take to Forum Moderation Review.

There's still nothing that can be done with reporting bugs to the forums, but if you disagree with some moderators choosing to leave a thread about it open instead of closing it, again, that's something for FMR. Community Manager for Jagex
