It's hard to say really, but think I'd probably want to make myself with the forum history and issues through the years, and then take on feedback from fmods who might also help gather feedback from the community as is done in this forum section. As of course one pair of eyes isn't enough to trawl through all feedback posts alone. I'd give up halfway through reading

Haha, I like the creative nature of this thread. Corder gave a pretty solid response if I do say so myself, but I think I’d work on perhaps integrating the Forum into more outlets - for instance what about the Jagex Launcher? Also, maybe incorporating some features that other successful media channels have. Shameless, I know
I think asking the players for feedback and sending out surveys is a good start - you know, to get a feel for features that the majority of users would wanna see on here. From there, I’d communicate internally with the rest of the “team” to weigh pros and cons, as well as if certain implementations are feasible for the RSOF.

First things first.
New Forums. A must.
Also add Forums to ingame. So when someone posts on 1 of your threads or a thread you tick for example you can tick upto 10 threads you like as in Fav threads you get ingame message of a new post. That way you could check them out.
Did I say New Forums.... Thats a must.
Also more staff posts on the forums. Make it simpler for staff to post. Right now it's tricky.

Some new sections for Old School for Clan related threads. Been in need of this for a while.
Maybe a New Forum would help.
Relax the rules a little more. Not sure how relaxed as they are very relaxed now.
