Not a bad idea but I don't see it working. Q&A's take a bit of planning on Jagex's part, for me to just start a thread and expect them to drop everything and join in is a false reality.

I just want to see this handled like any other Q&A, emphasis on I'd like to see this happen, and hopefully soon.

What I was meaning doing as a community Q&A, where the community answer and discuss questions and if JMod comes in that would be there choice.

Waiting for Jagex to come on board is unforeseeable, it may not happen.

Just thought I'd mention over in Off Topic Mod Crow started a official ask a question thread which is stickied, for about 15 pages Mod Crow was committed to that thread, sadly he fizzled out for some reason??

My thoughts are if you truly want this thread, start it!

Thanks for the update. The fact that you are still willing to do it is refreshing to hear, and as long as I know there is a chance at one coming in the foreseeable future, feel free to take your time.

You started this thread back in March and yes a Jmod - Allstar has shown a bit of interest just recently and stated he'd like to see one up and running - this could be awhile, or may not even happen.

If your so serious about this why don't you go ahead and start one. We have an amazing community who would and could answer a lot of stuff. There are several Jmods lurking the forums now, whom I'm sure would look into and maybe answer a few questions if not more here and there.

There's a lot of stuff the community can't action, such as updating the forums, making our profiles user friendly etc but this a Q&A we can action this, we can do this - why don't you just go and do it, instead of waiting for something that may or may not happen?

Please do discuss about this after your holidays or post it on the big Noticeboard for forum improvement discussions because the forum community has been starving for a massive RSOF update. There's a range of issues to cover from functionality, guides, instruction and specific rule updates.

We have so many unanswered questions!

Hopefully 2015 will be the year we see some changes around here.

Well we have a large project we need to get out first in the mighty RuneLabs - which is gona be awesome. So we cannot look at much of anything else till that is done. We are after all probably the smallest team in the company :) Senior Web Developer |
