Yea, this occurs when you either have your Internet browser automatically delete cookies at the end of your browsing session (as Archaeox said above) or when you completely delete your Internet browsing history at the end of the day (which is what I do daily). I do not want others to see what I do regularly while I am at work so I delete my history every single day. This is why I keep getting the pop up every single time I log into the Forums.

If websites stopped collecting/sharing data we wouldn't have to keep rejecting cookies :(

Its getting very common now, and im starting to loose interest in everything that keeps asking for me to accept cookies....just deleted my FB profile because of META data cookies...getting annoying now...
Mornin' Nice day for fishing ain't it...huh huh.

Yeah i block everything and disable javascript or HTML edit with 'inspect element' if any site has scroll bar remover code/popups against my adblocks.

I swear it's ads and cookies that gain you viruses online. PLUS...I value my security very highly in a world that only see's 'profits' and 'personal gains'.

^i can revoke the above and bypass it, so i shall, it is my right :P

It is good to take care of your own security and nobody should question that but that might also bring you in a difficult position like here now in RuneScape and RuneScape's Official Website & Forums.
Jagex/JMods do the same, they take care of their own security too.

indeed, i do allow jagex to use cookies, i did block some for fun and site didn't remember me being signed in lol. ah one of those 5 cookies has the login token....i trust jagex to a degree. But i don't fully trust anyone sadly, motives are blinding.

I'm bumping this thread because this shit still happens. Not only does is happen when I come to the site, I'll accept all the cookies and then get asked 2 more times as I move through different forums. And no I do not have cookies set to auto delete and haven't cleared my browsing history. This happens on my desktop, phone, and iPad every single time I come to this website. How is this still a problem. Has Jagex just completely abandoned all their website upkeep and moved to Twatter?
