The new, newer, newest login is the worst one yet!

I have lots of business to attend to on the site, such as monitoring my ban meter. Always a concern, it's rough when you can't even jaywalk without getting detained by border police.

This new login that Runescape unleashed has set the internet back 20 years. I don't understand why they would do anything like that.

I'm not a fan. No sir, I don't like it.

What is so worse about the login?

Improvements/Upgrades/Updates in security always are a delicate matter which happens in phases as it is truly complex to make it work instantly as developed.

The only thing that bugs you is 'login-habit' ... but that can be learned/changed over a short matter of time.

I just said they set the internet back 20 years, so no. I am not going to adapt to this reversal of technology to the stone age.

I will patiently wait for the next new login. Just like I am patiently waiting for customer support to get caught up nearly 2 months later. Extreme patience.

A cool thing about sharing information like this; I can see they are probably updating the login every month.

So I am expecting this to be a temporary nuisance, and they will release an even better version next time.

Still, it is so bad. Definitely worth complaining about. They open it up for mistakes to be made, like the apparent disaster I noticed in account help forum. At least I can learn from other players' misfortune to protect myself.

I would feel better about this if it was a simple mistake. But no, they actually decided to set the internet back ANOTHER 20 years. Might as well just start a new internet and see how that one goes.

I need to select the option to login with a user name first. That's down in the fine print so I never thought to read any of it. From there I need to manually input the name. It doesn't remember the name. It doesn't remember the choice to login with it.

I would be really annoyed except for one simple trick. I just reload the page. The site already knows who I am and just lets me in.

That's the entire basis of this thread. IF the game can just let me in that is ideal. But if I do need to enter details for some prehistoric reason, they can obviously be remembered by computers.
