There doesn't seem to be any quick way to fix it either, I've tried refreshing the page, navigating to another page then back and the (intermittent) fault persists.

This is in Chrome btw. I have this issue all the time. However it is actually a Chrome bug with their HTML renderer. I haven't made a minimal case but someone should report it to the Chromium team. Buy Zemomarks / Chromatic Partyhats safely here

Thanks for the additional info guys, if it's a Chrome issue I guess I'll have to put up with it or switch to another browser, but I'm reluctant to do that.

It only seems to happen on these forums though =/

Always happens to me, think well over a year now that I've seen it. I just figure it's another glitch. Compared to the graphical glitches in the game this one is so tame I just didn't care enough to bother reporting it. Bob
