Seems like I used to get regular emails that gave me super secret insider information, like the details of future updates.

Over time they became a reminder of the previous month's updates, which I already knew. Seems like there were other regular updates on my progress.

At this point I'm not even sure I get any emails. Recently, I get the popup to sign up for emails at login, related to fresh start worlds. Checking that out I am obviously already signed up.

Is any of this normal?

(I posted on this forum because I consider the official emails to be a website feature.)

I've stopped receiving them as well despite subscribing to all available emails. Maybe we need to re-save our email preferences if something is acting up? Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

I've long ago given up on trying to troubleshoot a problem with this game, because everything is on their end.

I could change my email settings and get the next email regardless, but I would clearly think I had fixed it. And likely suggest that to others, when it is simply a matter of Jagex forgot to send emails for a while.

Better to poke them with a stick and see if anything happens.

I usually receive them during Dxp events.

At this point I am obviously not mistaken. Maybe I will get an email for Fresh Start Worlds, which would be a little rude IMO.

Have you made sure that you have the correct box ticked in the Communication Settings interface in the My Account menu?

Yeah, I got curious about this. Looking at the email account used for my Runescape accounts, I got an email for the premier club in 2020, then never got another one till this year, which I got two, the last one was back in April for Extinctions release. Leader of The Enemy ||

No fresh start world email either. I've been looking forward to the celebration and we didn't even get anything. I'm guessing all of this is related to the price increase. Ask for more, give way less.
