I have several that I mess around with, but my favourites are probably my Lvl Up deck and burn deck (anti-heal equally as fun)
which lvl ups do you use? horus? armed dragon? or silent magicians?
Horus, Mystic Swordsman, and Armed Dragon (less often than the other two, though). Mystic swordsman has to be my favourite due to it's ability to destroy face-downs, but if I can get up horus lv8 with Jinzo (also in this deck) I can get a complete lockdown on trap and magic cards. Rarely happens, but it's sick when it does.

i use synchros mostly such as shooting star dragon and red nova dragon. i do use monarchs as backup as well. but my favorite is shooting star dragon just because he can attack up to 5 times per turn depending on how many tuners i reveal off the top of my deck. and red nova dragon is good for protecting my lifepoints . also just got colossal fighter, which is one of the best stalling cards if your opponent mainly has to rely on battling

I honestly never really played with synchros. I dueled a lot back in the day and stopped for a while, and when I came back to it synchros had really gained a lot of popularity among players. Maybe sometime I'll make a deck just to try them out. It's a little confusing to me not knowing so much about them and how all the tuner cards work, though.

to synchro summon its easy, you need 1 tuner and 1 regular monster and match the level with the synchro monster that you want to summon out of your extra deck. but some synchros require certain monsters. for example
Shooting Star Dragon- 1 tuner synchro monster+ stardust dragon
Red Nova Dragon- 2 tuners+ red dragon archfiend

Sounds easy enough, will just have to actually try it out sometime.

they are my favorites, but theres also xyz monsters where you stack them on top of 2 monsters with the same level to its corresponding rank. its hard to explain but all i can say is look it up. Also one of the synchro monsters i really want to have in my extra deck would be shooting quasar dragon. Id like to trade some of my cards for him but the sad part is, this years collectible tins are coming out and im afraid that he may be come a promo so ill wait till they come at the end of august and see

Unfortunately there's only like one card shop remotely close to where I am, and it's still like a 40 minute drive. And yeah, I played someone who used XYZ cards before and I honestly was completely lost as to what they were doing. I had never seen one before then, but yeah, I'll have to look up how those work too.

One i have is 5m away, and tbh i hate xyzs with a burning passion, imo they just ruined yugioh completely. the rank thing makes the card game look like some diff game. if they just stuck with level instead of rank. would have made yugioh stayed yugioh.
