i remember those days... when i first started i ran a joey starter deck, never really bought packs or anything. until gx came out. and i thought that every card seen in the series can be found irl, thought guardian eatos existed back then as a real card, then when 5ds came, i realized that it was released in stardust overdrive...its a bit sad that not every card gets released instantly when the episodes come out. oh yes and i have lost a lot of notable cards as well...such as red eyes darkness, vamp geneiss, an ultimate rare uforoid fighter, andro+ thien sphinx,+ shining flare wingman and an ultimate rare miracle fusion

i never really lost anymore cards from the deadly washer cause after the blue eyes thing i used to always make sure i took my cards out of my pocket before i would wash my clothes or when i got home. Ygo is a good time passer if you get bored of rs and its fun playing against other competitive decks to see how it fairs against them

someone attempted to steal some of me and my friends cards once, but we found out later that they stole them, was a friend of ours little brother he was looking through them and stole them when we werent looking, so we went and got them back. Another time someone tried stealing my Cyber Dragon when i was at a library cause some of the people i would go up there to hangout with would play, and i seen that mine was missing and the guy who stole it never had one before and then poof he had one, so i just walked up and took it back from him and walked away, never seen him come back up there anymore.

i honestly dont know why people steal ygo cards...the law for theft should be reinforced more on trading cards. and most of those cards i listed were mainly lost, but my thein and andro was stolen at a library by some 14 year old kid while i was only 10. wasnt looking and then....gf

yeah alot of yugioh cards are valuable and some worth a lot of money. its a shame that people steal them from other people just cause their trades aren't good enough to get the card legit, or they were just unlucky when pulling cards from packs.

well since you mentioned stealing i do have a story to share...one of my friends who has a cousin that plays at least 2-3 tournies a week at locals always had problems to deal with at his place. one time a friend of his cousin was in the middle of a match while one of the few other kids were done, he had a pencil with him to write down lifepoints and everything and heres where it gets a bit rocky...one kid tried to steal his binder, then after he caught him he jammed the pencil deep into that kid's arm, his arm was bleeding badly then both him and the kid were kicked out of the shop, and the sad part is the cousins friend's red nova dragon got stained a little with the blood because the blood flew a little into his binder, a few of his other notable rares got fkd too soo yeah...and then a week later a case was settled and both him and the kid who tried to steal both had 50 hours of community service and both of them were warned if this happens again both of them will be charged for felony, regardless of who started it first. so pretty much tcgs can bring drama and greed among people...and yes this is a true story.
