Magearna-EX's card has its arm opening up into a flower, generating beams of light and focusing into a beam. guess it's a man-made attempt at reproducing the Forbidden Weapon in the anime continuity. since its an EX card, it doesn't show the Pokedex number anyway.
So what type do you think the Rotom Dex / Dex/Info/Index Rotom would be? i was thinking Psychic/Electric with Psyshock or Psystrike as its' special move. you probably won't be able to use Rotom at all until the aftergame when you get the National Dex which would probably be operating at an increased capacity anyway which would mean the Professor would gift you the Rotom as your own Pokemon.
He probably leaves some Dummy Pokedexes for it to jump into so you can use it in battle.
