Pretty funny. He called the NFL office to find out if he'd get flagged/fined for doing this celebration if he got a pick-6 against the Bucs. They said he'd be fine to celebrate. Then he DID get a pick-6, and then DID get flagged for celebrating, and is likely going to be fined as well hahah.

LOL!! Thanks for posting that, going to show my roommates. Josh Norman stepped up like crazy in Luke K's absence. Loving it

He just did an interview on one of ESPN's radio shows. Hes quite the character and very entertaining. Sure makes it hard to not be a fan of Carolina. Ron Rivera has a rather unique and interesting story of his coaching, I personally really love Cam Newton.

I may have to secretly root for Carolina in every game not against Seattle@

Seattle? Looks like we'll be less than friends come Carolina's next game, coming off our bi-week ;)

You got home advantage for this one. Cam is starting to grow on me, but it's been Rivera and the defense that's kept me loving each game for the past few years. Rivera plays most games like it's the playoffs. Last week against the Saints he went for it on like 4th down 3 yards? Final score 22-27 Panthers.

It's been hard staying attached to the offense TBH. If you don't particularly like Cam then you've got to deal with losing Steve smith, an often-changing o-line, Williams, and other frequently injured backs (stewart!!), and Kelvin Benjamin... a promising WR. JUST TO NAME A FEW

However, I am your biggest Greg Olsen fan when it comes to the offense. Best ever WR oops, I mean tight end :p

good luck I'll see you in 2 weeks !!

I love Cam. Hes a guy who clearly had a lot of maturing to do after he got into the NFL. He spent a year or two acting like a kid at times. However hes clearly shown that he takes his job seriously, has made a serious effort to grow up and learn to become a leader. I think thats REALLY hard to do. Most guys are naturally great leaders, they don't exactly learn how to mature (see Jamarcus Russell).

Rivera is great too. It was probably 3 years ago now, he'd punt on every 4th and 1. He was the most conservative coach in the league. However, much like Cam, he took a hard serious look at the way he was doing things, and realized that he could change and become better by doing so. Now he consistently goes for it in these situations where has has the statistical advantage, even if its not the way the NFL has traditionally done things. I don't think its a coincidence that the Panthers have become a rather good team since Cam grew up a bit, and Rivera decided that there was actually a better way to do his job. Rex Ryan could probably take a page out of this book.

One other reason I enjoy the Panthers... Is the SBnation blogs. Every team has their own SBnation blog. The relationship between the Seahawk and 49ers blog is awful. It makes Runescape reddit look like a paradise. I suppose you would expect this on the internet, however when it comes to the Panthers and Seahawks blog, the fans have a general respect for one another. The comments are almost always positive and well structured.

So yes, as long as Seattle isn't playing the panthers, I'll be happy everytime they're playing well :) .

I am a Russel Wilson fan though, so I can't hate on you guys, plus I do like Washington. So you could say Seattle is one of my more-liked teams. The pats on the other hand, I HATE lol

Edit: I just refreshed your response. But yea! You are absolutely right about both Rivera and Cam. LOL at your Rex Ryan comment. That's too funny, he could probably afford to take the whole book.
