As an England fan I feel kinda cheated, even though it was a longish shot that England would get the win, damn bad light.

Really glad to see Adil get his reward though, first England leg spinner to take 5fer in over 50 years :)

0/37 at drinks for the Aussies. steady start. Burns 8* and Warner 28*

some milestones

22.4
Neesham to Warner, FOUR, length ball wide of off stump and Warner uses those wonderful hands of his to manoeuvre it through cover point. They run four by the time a fielder chases it to the rope, and Warner brings up an excellent half-century. Left really well against the new ball, and it's been breezy going ever since

24.2
Neesham to Warner, 1 run, back of a length on leg stump, and Warner gets on his toes and works it deftly off his hips towards deep backward square leg to bring up Australia's 100

100/0 at lunch after 25 overs. Burns 43 and Warner 54*

28.1
Boult to Burns, 2 runs, length ball, fourth-stump line, pushed into the point region with soft hands to bring up an excellent half-century in his first innings as an opener

38.5
Southee to Burns, OUT, and Southee has broken the stand. Lovely length outside off, and again Burns pokes away from his body. Southee gets it to leave him off the pitch, and Watling dives to his right to pouch the edge
JA Burns c †Watling b Southee 71 (120b 12x4 0x6) SR: 59.16

161/1 when Burns was out. 82* for Warner. Khawaja is the new man to the crease

47.2
Craig to Warner, 2 runs, short and wide, and he slaps it away to the left of cover point, who gets a hand on it with the dive, but can't stop the ball from rolling past him. Warner takes two, and completes a fantastic hundred. Hasn't converted his half-centuries lately, but this has been a near-perfect display so far.

207/1 after 48 overs Warner 101* Khawaja 27*
