Australia declared on their overnight score of 7 for 517 off 120 overs. India in reply are 5 for 369 off 97 overs.
top scorers for India are Captain Virat Kohli leading the way with 115, Cheteshwar Pujara 73, Ajinkya Rahane 62 and Murali Vijay with 53. The batsmen who are in atm are Rohit Sharma 33* and Wriddhiman Saha 1*
Leading wicket takers for Australia are M Johnson 2, N Lion 2 and R Harris 1.
sorry for zero updates L Australia won by 48 runs and took the last 8 wickets in the last 2 hours of play. Lyon took 7 in the innings and 12 for the match, in a man of the match performance. Michael Clarke might have played his last test match for Australia, pulled his right hamstring while fielding a ball. Kohli made twin tons. Vijay made 99.
NZ to win tonight I reckon. No Misbah leaves Pakistan with Younis being the only reliable person there in the batting department. Why Afridi is captianing insteada Younis is beyond me, I suppose Younis doesn't want to? Afridi is far from the greatest cricketing mind Pakistan has to offer...
has younis khan ever captained before? i cant really remember a time where he has done the job tbh. good on nz too in the uae you guys have done really well lol
Looks like his average was abysmal as captain, but then again his overall average is pretty damn bad for a specialist batsman playing over 200 ODIs- 31.51. Only 6 centuries in all those matches too- surprising considering he's a truly classy test batsman. I suppose with a record like that he mightn't deserve captaincy as much as I thought but then again his personality seems very suited to it.
At the very least Pakistan should be grooming some youngster to captain when Misbah retires. I just don't see the logic behind Afridi.
