Ok, I'm not 100% in-the-know of how torrenting works... but the 2 times that I ever tried to torrent something, I received an e-mail from my ISP on both occasions saying that I've made a copyright infringement and I need to pay a settlement or risk being sued by the content owners.

I used to have roommates who I shared internet with and they would torrent stuff like Deadpool and Game of Thrones and I'd get an e-mail for every episode they torrented.
