I had overheating problem with my laptop few months ago. It was shutting down automatically while playing rs or any other game. I took it to a professional and he cleaned all the dust that was blocking the fan which caused overheating. Since then I never had any overheating or auto shut down.

Not joking with this but... the internal fan made a lot of noise and it just stopped. Then I use stuff to clean it. still did not work. I dropped it and it worked... idk if it is 100% working tho. IDK what the temp was before. I think it is hot tho bc the side with the vents is cracking. But it has always been cracking.
Stop, before you cause it some serious damage.
If your computer is making bad noises whilst turned on, the worst thing you can do is keep it turned on. You need to take it to a hardware store (or a computer store, whatever you call them locally).
Cleaning it isn't going to fix a hardware error - it sounds like it's faulty.

I've only gotten to that temperature once - when my LCU started leaking. (I luckily noticed when the liquid killed my GPU, so I got a new computer through the 3 year warranty.)
So yeah, like SubZero said, I'd call customer support before turning the thing on again.
Oh it stopped making noise after I dropped it lol. But I will have a friend fix it at a party soon. Thanks for the help ppl
