I remember merching at W2 Fally prior to GE, each item had it's own area in fally to sell at:
Whips in the northern part of the garden, barrows just a little west of that.
Dlegs/Dskirts southeast of whips.
Partyhats were north of whips behind the fally wall.
Unidentified herbs just outside the bank to the east.
etc.
Cooking and fletching used to be the only "easy" skills.
Hoardes of the default looking level 3 bots at Draynor Swamp Yews, and Catherby Flax patch.
Luring level 3 flax bots to the bats by wearing the light blue gloves because it looked like their flax.
N0valyfe, Yogosun, Zezima, The Old Nite were relevant
As far as trendy outfits go,
-Legends Cape and whip for sure. Or fire cape. Noobs called it lava cape.
-Full guilded, santa/hween
-Infinity robes
For the rich,
3rd age Mage/Melee + Phat
Max strength bonus outfit back then was
Whip, Dragon Defender, Fighter torso, Neitz Helm, Rune Boots
Barrows Gloves, Strength Ammy, D Legs
