lmfao. Naruto probably won't return to the manga storyline until 2017 or late 2016. A new article was released saying that the adaptation of the Itachi light novels will be acting as a filler arc rather than it's own standalone anime. After that is finished they will be making another filler arc about something I won't talk about because of spoilers. That's like 2 years straight of filler when the manga ended in November 2014 : ^ )

The Itachi stuff will most likely be worth watching, same with the other stuff but it's a bit ridiculous that they keep delaying the canon content when there isn't any more being produced lol. There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.

Boruto the movie was... interesting. I loved the pairings that ended up (although a few were a bit wtf) and massive spoils were had by anyone that only watches the anime about who survives the final fight and what injuries and ect occur but honestly that is the anime's fault for not finishing already ffs.

Anyways it was released on schedule but the anime ran like 10 years of filler too long so it spoiled all the things.

The only real thing I didn't like about the movie was the way it tried to make everything revolve around kids and how they can literally barely throw a kuni yet somehow hold the key to this god tier battle.

The way they did this was by
giving Boruto a special ability that makes his chakra vanish and reappear which is mentioned once with 1 line of dialogue and used once to cause the main bad guy to miss. Then he is given the main attack to finish off the bad guy but he doesn't even use his ability on it so wtf was the point of giving it to him??? Also how does he even have a special ability his dad can't do? I could understand if it was like a byakugan thing but Naruto should be able to do almost anything else himself.


And a few other plotholes were:
The side badguys just snuck into Sasuke's portal... how can those morons get by amazing ninja????
Why would they fire ordinary attacks at a guy of that level??? Even without knowing he could absorb them the attacks they were clearly completely outclassed.
The reason Sasuke could only take x many people was because his portal had a limit... so how did the side badguys just walk on in? If it was open to more people why didn't they send the other monsters like Sakura and Lee?
Also they drained the 8 tales and ate it so are the other tailed beasts and hosts dead now or what??? Not even a word for B dying???


Overall the kid stuff was very forced in the epic battles but still very satisfying to see, just wish it was done better. 7 or 8 out of 10 for me.

B didn't die. He was shown in the credits getting out of the water. He did the same trick as he has multiple times in the series. He used one of Gyuki's severed tails to retain some chakra. 1st time was against Sasuke in the Cloud village and 2nd time was against Madara during the war.

Seeing Naruto and Sasuke coordinate Taijutsu was so fucking awesome. Not to mention Sasuke being a badass with 1 arm. So glad he finally got some spotlight since he was left out of The Last minus a cameo.

It really makes me want to see the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight animated even more because of how awesome Taijutsu is in the series as a whole.

Overall it did have it's flaws obviously but that's to be expected from a movie that only has 2 hours of run time.

One last thing to add, Wolfie:

I hope you're ready for them to nerf the shit out of Naruto and Sasuke for the upcoming Boruto manga lol.
There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.

Honestly watching Boruto bored me so much. Only good parts were Sasuke + Naruto vs main villain, and the first fight with Sasuke.

It confuses the fuck out of me that Sasuke didn't stop the people from entering the portal or whatever the fuck it was after them. Like, both Naruto and Sasuke won without any help then they fuck it all up by regenerating the guy like holy shit. What if fucking Boruto was weak as fuck.


But nah, fucking pen defeats all logic.

Also seeing Sasuke just run around with a sleeve empty was hilarious.

As someone that loved the original show a great deal this sequel has been a major letdown although still pretty hilarious as a comedy. The original had a much better balance between humor and action and kept the harem aspect to mere implications.

Naruto is the King of fillers and God of flashbacks and One Piece is the Champion of dragging things on

Also, did anyone notice that Fairy Tail repeated a 10 minute scene with Erza towards the end of the Demon arc. Not to forget about the VERY slow camera panning of everything (mainly dragons) towards the end of the same arc as well.
