Those obligatory ones start out great but do drag out a lot, but everywhere else i got smacked in the face for leaving those out, hence i put them in each and every one of my recomendations as longrunning & really popular ones, but not specificaly the category that i'd suggest the most

+ Akame Ga kill, haven't read the manga, I personally liked it.
+ Danmachi ive watched the start & hopped over to the Light novels, so i have no idea how it ended, but i went off the scource material & that is awsome
+ Tokyo ghoul is in the same boat, watched the first season, than read the manga, ive heard Season 2 is shit tho.
+ Unlimited blade works still is a nice starter anime, it's not too offputting and is nice to watch (cuz that glorious animation)

I was loving Danmachi and Akame ga Kill initially but I felt like they both went downhill towards the end. Danmachi by drowning us in fanservice rather than concentrate on what made the anime unique and great. Akame ga Kill
just end up killing every character in what seemed a rushed manner.

The only good episode from Tokyo Ghoul was the last episode of season 1, which I would confidently rate a 10/10 episode but every other episode of season was felt arounda 5-6/10. I felt like most people left season 1 only remembering the execution of the season rather than the whole season, hence why it was so overhyped.

Yeah, Unlimited Bladeworks isn't that bad but I feel like Fate/Zero is much better in terms of story/characters. The characters in Fate/Zero might actually be my favourite of any anime series thinking back on it now.

ive not watched unlimited budgetworks, but everything i hear about it makes it sound inferior to the other fates.... is it still worth watching?

i agree with omid on akame ga kill, it got worse the longer i watched it, if i hadnt read the original media i probably would of enjoyed it, but knowing its the same story butchered I cant say its that great

danmachi, i havent heard it called this name before but i spose so, i enjoyed this anime more so towards the start, thought it was ok to the end, but I am not a fan of... that happening to MCs, if theres more i feel like the ending will make it hard to enjoy

ive heard a lot about tokyo ghoul, on this thread as well, the only people who seem to enjoy it are those that hate any form of dialog, my rl friend loved tokyo ghoul and cant sit for more then 10 seconds of dialog, he dropped opm from genos's story.....

overall, i wouldnt suggest any of these to someone as a starter anime, I just dont think they suit the kind of i want people to view anime as..... i am 25, which is a pretty normal age id say for rs players, and dumping them into hardcore violence with limited story and dialog isnt something i can say would be appealing to people who have never been into it...

i tend to try attack them with comedy if i dont know about them, alot of the other things can just seem stupid to people who arent use to it.... because these kinds of things arent popular in the western world...

prepare yourself

plz the Tokyo Ghoul anime does not exist.

As for the Fate series. An anime will never do the series justice due to the source material being a long ass Visual Novel. I mean yeah it could be comparable but it will never live up to the same level of depth and development you get in the VN.

Fate/Zero is a better adaptation because the source material is Light Novel. Self explanatory really.

Honestly, depending on how many movies Ufotable turns Heaven's Feel into, it has potential to be what Unlimited Blade Works should have been. It's the longest of the 3 routes so they would need a decent amount of movies to include everything. Although if it's anything like Kara no Kyoukai, it would take a few years before the full route is adapted. KnK took 3 years for 7 movies.
There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.

Started/finished One Punch Man last night + origin ova for his costume, good stuff. Want to explore more of Genos if it gets a second season, although I enjoy the current style as well. Normally you have a main character trying to become the best, it's nice seeing it the other way around.

also I like this ost:

And here's to starting HxX (in 2k16 hopefully)™

I'll rate OPM 9/10. It would've been a 10 for me personally but the execution of comedy lacked something and we were left with so many open ends which will hopefully lead to S2.

Everything else about it was great. Every OST was on point, the animation speaks for itself and it was enjoyable to watch every episode.

I feel torn on OPM, I wanted a lot more comedy than I got D: Probably a rating between 8.25-8.75/10 for me, not decided yet.

Tornado was really funny, I like her :3

D-Gray Man was really meh in my opinion but berserk is so fucking good!

Need more Berserk!

Need more Claymore!
