What are some good animes someone would recommend for me to watch?

I've already seen (and enjoyed):
Hunter X Hunter
Yu Yu Hakusho
Dragon Ball
Death Note
Inuyasha
Berserk (a hidden gem, tbh)
High School of the Dead
Fairy Tail (Watched first 100 episodes before it went downhill)
Code Geass (Couldn't get into it after episode 2, should I give it another chance?)

Any other gems that someone might recommend? I'm looking for some new anime to watch over the winter break. If anyone has any questions about the ones I've listed above, I can also share some insight. :)

Attack on Titan
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Code Geass
Steins Gate
Welcome to the NHK
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Shinsekai Yori

Basically my top anime on my list excluding Gintama because it's a bit too long and takes a while to get into.

Definitely give Code Geass a second chance, you won't regret it.

No Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? Start that NOW.
There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.

so many animes listed that i wouldnt even consider watching as they simply seem pointlessly violent Xd

watched magi recently, was k, but alot of the characters seemed more like dicks then inherently evil

-Danmachi became overwhelmed by fanservice but started really well.
-Guilty crown had the worst ending of all time, execution has a huge tilt on my ratings.
-Tokyo ghoul was thee most overrated anime in existence, had 1 good episode and that was it.
-Unlimited bladeworks was only good because of its animation, otherwise it would barely rate higher than the original fate/stay night.
-Akame ga Kill went to shit to simply put and I hate when anime attempt to make a 'dark' scene with characters that you've only known for 5mins, makes you feel nothing for them.

I totally disagree that it's obligatory to mention long running anime, I would never suggest them because it's the best way to put someone off anime. If you rate every episode individually of One Piece, Fairy Tail, Bleach or Naruto you would come out with probably around a 2-6/10. They drag on too much and there's too much filler.

Those obligatory ones start out great but do drag out a lot, but everywhere else i got smacked in the face for leaving those out, hence i put them in each and every one of my recomendations as longrunning & really popular ones, but not specificaly the category that i'd suggest the most

+ Akame Ga kill, haven't read the manga, I personally liked it.
+ Danmachi ive watched the start & hopped over to the Light novels, so i have no idea how it ended, but i went off the scource material & that is awsome
+ Tokyo ghoul is in the same boat, watched the first season, than read the manga, ive heard Season 2 is shit tho.
+ Unlimited blade works still is a nice starter anime, it's not too offputting and is nice to watch (cuz that glorious animation)

manga is great. million times better then the anime. i always cant wait for new chapters to come out, but when they do im super nervous reading them. im always scared they will kill a character, and at this point i like pretty much like every character, both good and bad

its great because (anime spoiler)
no giant robots or killing off characters for no reason besides the sake of killing characters
and its going quite a bit different then how the anime ended
Old School
