That chapter hit right in the feels. As if Kanekis life wasn't tragic enough we get this shown to us. People noticed that what was shown in this chapter, was foreshadowed in the first part of the manga. It just shows how great Ishida is. Each new chapter is better than the other, and I can't wait to see the current situation unfold. It's a must read manga.
Ugh was replying to Alluka, but somehow screwed it up.
I'm currently watching the Tokyo Ghoul anime, how much farther does the manga continue? Looks like Root A is mostly filler unfortunately, so I'm assuming not too much farther at this point?
Season one condenses about 70 chapters of content full of dialogue and character interactions into 12 20 minute episodes.
The second season cuts up the remaining 70 chapters of content full of dialogue and character interactions and replaces it with stuff that doesn't even happen. This results in things being completely different than what they should be.
It's worth noting that Tokyo Ghoul is a very dialogue heavy series that is completely driven by the characters and their developments. It isn't another mindless action series.
The manga is VERY different and VERY worth reading from the beginning if you want the full Tokyo Ghoul experience.
Part one of the manga is 143 chapters and is "finished". Part two, which is called Tokyo Ghoul:re is currently on chapter 53 and it's ongoing.
There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.

the anime looks exactly like a mindless action series, and its been described to me as that, so ill never watch it, but i might read it now thanks

Yeah it's not but the anime makes it seem that way. Basically cut out everything between the "fights" that do happen and you get the Tokyo Ghoul anime. You can only do so much in 12 episodes and of course they have to cater to the people who only watch shows for action.

youve grown pale agu, are you sick? and why does greymon have a belly spike, he used to just be flabby
what rating would you guys say you would classify an anime as not worth watching, like 5/10 or lower = skip? or you could thoroughly enjoy a 1/10 anime?
OH MY FUCKING LORD. I hateee the main character of Owari no Seraph, holy fuck he's such a child! This is one of the reasons I loved Fate/Zero, it was mature with no children (except for one that was mature). Why does anime always have to revolve around fucking kids? I don't get it.

personally I like the new animation, it has been like 15 years after all, quality has gone way up imo

Aw, that really stinks. Too bad they cut out all of the dialog, could have made a good long show that way. The story that is in the show doesn't seem too bad in my opinion. I haven't minded it so far, but I haven't read the manga... I'd assume I would think the anime was crap if I had.

It's because it's a shonen series.
Try giving One Punch Man or Young Black Jack a shot if you're not watching them already. Both are new shows this season, both are pretty fantastic, and neither revolves around kids.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans does revolve around kids, but they're all fairly mature. Just like OPM and YBJ, it's new and pretty fantastic.

Watched over 700 series love a good anime series.
Enjoying from this season
Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry
Owari no seraph
One punchman
Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni Shomin Sample Toshite Gets Sareta Ken
Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai
For me, these four are the most enjoyable:
One Punch Man
Young Black Jack
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
The Asterisk War
And these are okay:
Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon
Comet Lucifer
Seraph of the End (Season 2)
Utawarerumono
Dropped Beautiful Bones and The Perfect Insider because both just seem like borefests. Dropped Chivalry of a Failed Knight because the whole "I'm in love with my blood brother" subplot is way too creepy for my taste.
Still watching Dragon Ball Super, but right now I feel like it leaves a lot to be desired. The show spent close to twenty episodes dragging out an unnecessary retelling of Battle of the Gods and we've probably got another twenty or so that will do the exact same thing with Resurrection of F. It just seems like a terrible way to drag out the show and it's boring me more and more with every passing week. I'm just waiting for them to move onto the stuff that's completely original and hoping it'll get a lot better once we get there.
