I certainly came across those kind of people, but not all of them. Actually met a few similar to Morgan, and even got dumped by one of them. It is definitely more challenging to maintain an awesome relationship with these types than those who follow the herd. But that is what I want, better to work for it than to have a worthless relationship.
All I can say is that, there's definitely many who thinks like Morgan. BUT I do share the same views as you when looking at people fantasizing over Twilight and the sterotypical high school 'elite' girls swooning over jocks. (Though I admit to be part of a such 'elite' in high school, however never really followed the crowd. People just found me interesting.) I'm just saying that because I type like some loser ranting about high school social scene.
