I bought an Acer Predator G3 - 710 desktop nearly two years ago. It was discounted $800 and the store threw in a HP VR - Mixed Reality headset worth another $800.

I must admit that I miss the portability of a laptop/notebook but if I want to 'scape, I can now do that on my tablet. I know that there are better machines out there but this one is doing fine for now.

The next machine will be my Jedi machine (a la light sabre), where I build it myself. :)

2 75 hz panels from Lenovo 23 inch
1 144 hz monitor from Acer XFA 240
K55 keyboard from Corsair
Logitech G502 mouse
Razer extended mouse pad
some cheap speakers under the acer monitor
both a wired Xbox 1 and PS4 controller
NZXT S340 chasis
and the maraschino cherry is my 84 inch desk with my Xbox one S and PS3 off to the side for entertainment.
Xbox one S is discless and PS3 for the classic era of PS1/2 games.

Anyone able to throw some Pc parts at me?

I've taken a year off RS3 to play OSRS, now I'm back to rs3, i need to upgrade from the standard laptop i'm using to something more powerful but i've no idea about computers, all i know is the laptop i'm using right now isn't good enough to do anything other than afk and get rowdy at the screen while it stutters and goes black lol.

Limit of £400

Doesn't need to be anything special, just enough to be able to play RS3 and OSRS at the same time. (Haven't tried to play RS3 and OSRS at the same time on laptop, no point wasting time...)

Current Rig:

Win10
CPU: Intel I7 3770 @ 3.40Ghz (getting old now)
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB (recently upgraded from a 750ti due to $100 score)
RAM: 16GB
Dual 27inch 60hz monitor setup
Able to run NXT Client on the max graphics settings without any lag issues, so quite happy!

Considering doing another build as this setup is from 2012 with GPU upgrades. Will likely go down the midrange AMD Ryzen 5 2600/3600 path running a 1660ti. Not sure if i'll stick with my dual 27inch monitor setup or go down the curved 49inch monitor path
