Less impressive with name changes since some might not even be the original players.

But it's nice to see that the first few names picked were good gaming names rather than the trend of short/real word names that people seem obsessed with these days(not just on RS)...

Seen the list before, and still amuses me to scroll through it once again. Thanks for posting :P

Out of the top few names a couple of friends of mine were
#03 Merlin and #12 Ashley

Merlin quit in late 2004 from what I remember
and Ashley was actually a fairly highly ranked player for the longest time!
I myself quit for a couple of years around the 06 07 mark and when I came back I don't think I ever saw her on again.
Those are just a quick few, there are many more on that list but it would take me forever to go through it all and write a story :P

I wondered this also. I didn't read through all the names, but i didn't really notice many pokemon names either.
