Why don't you bring it up with general manager or something? That sounds horrible.
We asked him to do one simple task and he instead grabbed a chair, turned a fan on and played on his phone.
That reminds me back when I was a driver for Dominos there was this one guy who had to set the orders out on the heating table for us to pick up from the oven and it would just pile up in the oven cause he was too busy texting his girlfriend.
Was a bitch on Friday nights...
Luckily he only lasted like 3 weeks but still. Ridiculous how people think that's okay for 1 second.
There's currently a girl like that at my work; she's constantly on her phone, and am like, we've got customers...
IMO, I would mention it to a supervisor or someone in charge... if his behaviour keeps up. I'd also pull him aside and say, "Yo, man... This ain't my place, but could'ja put your mobile down for a bit?"
