androids been eating up market share like no tomorrow

Opensource generally prevails in a scenario like this (that being said, Linux)

The fact you can pick up a fully functional android smartphone for $20 definitely helps.

windows has the almost functionality of an open source without actually being open source, pushing the bounds of a whole OS (Especially back then) wasn't/isn't as practical. A cellphone OS naturally has to be much simpler which makes it a more practical.

That being said, if windows keeps up their facebook style stalking in their next OS then more people might move to linux.

Which one do you have? I've had BB Leap since one year now and it still works just fine, never got slow and the battery still lasts much longer than my previous Samsung Phone. Also my Samsung S3 which i had became extremly laggy and when typing sometimes i had to wait 30 seconds for the text i wrote to appear. Never happened with the Leap.I ordered the DTEK50 cause WhatsApp will stop to work for BB OS by the end of 2016.

first one i got was the BB 8800 i believe? then I got the 9900 after that. Both of them if I installed a few apps it would slow down like no tomorrow, an dhad many glitches with them. I had my 9900 for like 4-5 years and just got used to its flaws.

I've heard good things from Priv users though, and although i went kinda cheap on my android cell phone,i do enjoy it but I may be interested in moving back to BB if they keep up their android based phones.

Android shits on iOS in the smartphone department.
Cheaper, more reliable, less battery usage, runs smoother, equally as diverse in apps. It's just all around better.

iOS only belongs in the tablets, and they're even getting really solid competition there. The only thing saving them is app variety compared to other tablets.
