I prefer the gamecube controllers so much more..

Do you know if you can play Zelda: Twilight Princess with gamecube controllers? I returned the game because I wasn't sure if you could :s

I like Nintendo. I bought all my Nintendo consoles (N64 until the Wii U) on the day of their respective releases. I actually bought several extra GameCubes as well later on for Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament purposes.

Said game is also my favourite game of all time. Other than that I'm obviously a huge fan of all the classic Nintendo series (Zelda, Mario,Metroid, Donkey Kong etc.).

My most recent favourite game has been Hyrule Warriors. I didn't expect to like it, but somehow I really do. I haven't given myself the time yet to start with my Super Mario Maker. But when I do...

I remember Twilight Princess being released (2 versions) for both the GameCube and for the Wii (as a launch title) at the same time. You could play the GameCube version with the GameCube controller. The Wii version you could as well, using an unofficial adapter.

I also read on the internet like 2 days ago that the Twilight Princess will be on the Wii U Virtual Console. Hopefully a nice HD port and some updates, hopefully playable with the GameCube controller as well. Even thought I wouldn't mind if it wasn't. Because I've really taken a liking to the Wii U Gamepad...

(Yes, of course I still prefer my GameCube controller for the Smash Bros. Series).

I remember having some of the older consoles of Nintendo and playing the Legend of Zelda games when I was younger. I still love those games, just don't have that console anymore. Brings me back memories.
I also used to have Skyrim on Xbox360 that I miss too, but I don't have it either anymore.
So all I do these days is playing RS.

@Azura, thanks for the information on Twilight Princess! I'll definitely check that out. I love Zelda, I just can't stomach the wii controllers.

@Joe, yeaaa. That is part of the appeal to console gaming for me. It's popularized and just seemingly easier to find the newest games not available yet on PC. Also, when I do buy newer PC games, it's harder to find friends IRL or matches online for me.

Anyways, with my new gaming PC, I'll be trying out some higher-end games for sure! :)

if i buy a console its purely for halo, own a 3ds to, but new age console gaming is crap compared to pc, and the personalitys of people is beyond bad, when the gaming community is dominated by low quality products like call of duty, then theres really nothing going for it

Got a PS4, play Fifa/Dark Knight/Assassin's Creed/Battlefield and stuff.
3DS purely for Pokemon cause #1

Used to have an Xbox 360, played Cod with a bunch of friends with was awesome, was also pretty into achievements on Xbox and 100% pretty difficult games such as Skyrim/Cod 4/Halo Reach/Halo 4. Was pretty into Halo and I was ranked pretty high up, was into competitive but didn't really progress enough before I lost interest.

Don't really play consoles anymore since I got cs:go, most of my time is spent on there now

E: Wanted to get an Xbox 1 for Halo/Gears but pssh, too expensive
