Just in: According to a Belgian newspaper, Anderlecht have reached an agreement with Monaco, selling Tielemans for €25m. This newspaper is the #1 sports source in our county and is usually correct about stuff like this.

Yeah, Berge has been good. Genk are going to try to keep him, though, because they're currently bringing the best football in our league and then have a long road ahead to qualify for the EL. They're not in our championship group (top 6/Group A), so their only way to qualify for European football is by winning their subgroup (B2) in Group B, which they've already won, then defeating the winner from Group B1, then defeating the rank #4 of Group A and then they'd have to play 3 EL qualification rounds, so Genk are definitely going to try to keep the team together.

Edit: Anderlecht deny the Tielemans deal, though. But I'm thinking that this is probably because the transfer market hasn't officially opened yet.

Chelsea, Feyenoord and Monaco have won the title. Today, Anderlecht can join them!

I'm secretly hoping for a tie in Spain between Barcelona and Real. I think Barcelona win the title then.

Grats to Anderlecht!

Malaga to decide the spanish league with them playing real madrid in the last match: if real madrid win or draw they win the title, a loss means Barcelona wins if they can beat Eibar.

A bit sketchy that Malaga recieves 1M if Real madrid wins the league as part of the deal when they sold Isco though ...

It's almost all over now. Just the EL final, the CL final and then the world cup qualifiers. :( All of that will be great, though, but then what. D: I really dislike the odd years. During the even years there's always either the Euros, the world cup and/or the Olympics, now it feels like a 2-month void is about to begin.

U21 Euros + confederations cup I believe, though those are a bit niche.

Norwegian league has only been going for 10 rounds, but will have a break between 17th July and 6th August.

You guys start after the winter break?


Final tonight! Based on the Anderlecht games again Man Utd, I'd expect a dominant Ajax that makes defensive mistakes while Man Utd. will be more defensive, but also more controlled and organized. It's going to be an interesting game. I think all will depend on how well Ajax defend. They can't afford to give away chances like the ones against Lyon in the second leg.

Ajax haven't played for 10 days and I think that's an advantage for Man Utd. I hardly ever see teams perform well in the first game after a break.

Yeah, season is usually from April to November.

Mourinho got his tactics right and didn't allow Ajax any chances of playing like they wanted to. They also didn't help themselves by trying to play too narrow and constantly trying to pass through the middle.
Klaassen and Dolberg were completely marked out of the game and couldn't be as influential as they've been up until the final.

I thought Sanchez and De Ligt both had decent games at centre back though.
