Saw this earlier too (only near bottom reply box), but couldn't seem to reproduce it

Version 3.1.7.93 has a new approach to handling this. It much simpler than my previous methods.

I'm not entirely sure if that means I was missing something obvious and over complicating things, or if it means I'm now missing something obvious and need to add more complexity.

I guess time will tell :)

My timezone is eastern pacific It's currently 3:49 p.m.

It does not work on the main forum page either.

This is how it looks:

Feel free to ask whatever is needed to help :)

Thanks for the info DiddyBop.

I just changed my timezone in windows to eastern pacific (UTC-05:00)

and it's doing the calculations correctly as you can see in the screenie.

I'm not sure where to start on this, because the conversion have been confirmed as working from a number of timezones.

There are couple of things that could mess with this. Local browser settings and OS settings. But I'm not ruling out things on RS Linkify's end.

Sorry I can't give you a better answer right now. All I can confirm is given the right OS and browser settings the math seems to be correct.

Edit: I'll keep looking into it, nothing more I can think to ask atm. I won't get to look at linkify until later today but it'll be the first thing I look into.

Alright I'll try checking some setting and trying some other browsers for research, its not a huge issue just was wondering if I was doing something wrong. Thank you :)

I played with a few of my settings on the computer and found the problem. I had pacific time (3 hour difference) as my computers official time, but had a custom time that was overriding that time to show up as my real time.

All fixed sorry for wasting your time :)

Glad you got it worked out, and really no apologies necessary. This kind of stuff adds to my repertoire of troubleshooting tips. It will be no doubt be handy for other people down the track.

I'm glad you posted. If you didn't post you may still not have it working and that would be shame since it's a handy feature :)
