Not sure if this is something you could fix.. but whenever I use things like Bold/Italics/Colour in lengthy posts - I find that it always scrolls down to the bottom each time I add one of those to my posts. For example: If I want to make a post that is half way down the post.. green, it scrolls all the way down to the bottom, so for each post I have to keep scrolling back up which gets annoying.

Obviously this issue only occurs when dealing with posts that are really lengthy (making a scroll bar appear). Not sure if this is something you can temp fix or if it has to be done by Jagex themselves.

Hopefully I've explained it properly, so it makes sense >.<

Update: Version 3.1.7.25

I have looked the issue Singularity described and found it occurs without Linkify enabled (whew!). So I thought perhaps it's the default behaviour of the forums.

Further testing in FF and IE told a different story and the issue does not occur. This made me think it's a chrome only issue. But I had to make sure.

So I made a blank webpage that emulates the forum textarea, and there was no issues at all when inserting BB tags. I simply could not reproduce the issue, nor could I find any reference to this in chrome's online bug reports.

So after all that, I was no closer to understanding what the cause is.

I decided to destroy all the events and functions that handle inserting BB codes, and write it all from scratch. It was very simple and lots faster than trying to troubleshooting code I didn't write.

The result is BB buttons now work as they should and if Jagex ever add new buttons my code can easily accommodate them. I'm still not sure what the cause of the problem is, and if anyone can shed some light on the subject I'd love hear about it :)

My Linkify has been breaking a lot recently :s

Yesterday it entirely stopped working and I had to re-install, and now custom quote options are not working. (Specifically, avatars next to quotes, and custom quote borders) - Is it something on my end?

My Version Info...

RS-Linkify Version: 3.1.7.25
Chrome Version: 39.0.2171.95
Compiled for: Win32
Language: en-US
OS: Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64
Blood Caffeine Level: 88% Caffeine, 12% Blood. (Still not shaking yet!)

Edit v2: Another re-install didn't fix it.

Sorry Rowley and thanks for mentioning the mini avatars and quote borders.

I had them disabled for something I was testing and I completely forgot to put them back on. Uploading a fix right now. Version 3.1.7.26 should be available now, updating your extensions will re-enable them.

As for the other thing, I really don't know. Today (a few hours ago) is the first update in 5 days, so nothing has changed with linkify during that time. But I can assure you the mini avatars and borders are not anything on your end, that was me.
