Of course linkify is made with HLF in mind, but if an LLF user has linkify, they can make use of the custom texts/emoticons/avatars/signatures and all the other neat little features linkify has to offer. Not to mention the newer stuff like toggling smiley's on or off. All of that extra stuff which you begin taking for granted after using linkify for so long is just as useful in LLF.

There is definitely uses for linkify in LLF.

Aside from Avatar submitting none of those limitations are imposed by me.

What's considered useless is up to the individual. Doesn't bother me in least if features aren't used by everyone. That's the whole point, taylor the app to your needs.
