These gradient background would be really awesome to have in place of, or alongside, the Custom Posts solid backgrounds. I'm probably one of the minority who actually uses it, but I have had a dark charcoal color background on my posts ever since the start of it (mainly to keep it somewhat similar to the default color, but at the same time distinguishing it from the others). I really like the gradient dimgrey/darkslategrey, could easily see me using one instead of the solid background.

That's the plan eventually. Flat colours will be possible too. I just need to write a nice interface for making and previewing gradients and also improve the interface for existing colour options. Not sure when that will happen but I'd like to do it in the near future :)
