Wales outclassed Portugal by a mile? What game were you watching mate?
It went like this:
First half was balanced. Both teams had chances and held the ball for some period of time. Referees were crap. Nobody got refablled, but both teams got equally whistled wrong. The second half was dominated by the poortuguese. Bale had some good chances here and there, and Wales altogether got some good attacks, but none of them led to a goal.
Portugal was better all in all, so they deserved it.
Portugal has become a lot better with Sanches. Ever since he got to play from the begin, the gameplay has improved a lot. The middlefield is more secure, and Portugal is getting more and more attacks from the middle. Sanches will become a big name in the upcoming years.
Unfortunately I think that Poortugal will get raped by the Germans, but hey, #2 is good enough. And losing to the Germand isn't a shame at all
