Another boss of mine would literally just launch Hardstyle sounds (this will either be synths, kick drums or even full length tracks ranging from soft to hard depending on its mood) at the target. Those who do not like Hardstyle would just consider it "noise" and be instantly deafened by it (because their ears just wouldn't be able to bare it any longer and since you can't teleport from bosses in 2015 and beyond, see you ears).
Those who survive this boss will become Hardstylers and love it for eternity. Dare they enter? Are they willing to make that sacrifice? Not all who enter make it to the end.
Those who are already fans of the genre would instantly be transformed into minions that would aid the boss in defeating the haters. Quite the army I must say, they won't be no easy minions either - they're quite vocal and will not hesitate to scream at targets who have not embraced the harderstyles. Players can expect their feathers extremely rustled as the minions provoke, attack and flame them severely for liking another genre - I mean seriously, it's either GO HARD OR GO HOME (to your death).
Minions are like a distraction you could say. Some players would be so invested in defeating the minions (because who can't resist responding to flame?) that they'd forget about the boss entirely, allowing it to begin the full conversion process - they wouldn't even know what's happening until it's too late. From hater to love in a matter of minutes, effortlessly. Better kill off the minions ASAP because their distraction abilities grow larger! Right?! You don't want the boss to convert you to become a lover of NOISE, do you?!
Unfortunately it's time for a bit of sadness. Not all who enter actually get converted to lovers, some will not even make it to that stage if their ears give up
they'll instead be converted into a dead corpse. It's a risk the daredevils are willing to take I imagine, though.

A level 23 in mithril / hard leather who camps level 1 wilderness wherever you might enter, and casts bones to bananas on your remains while you're still alive. As bones to bananas is not a combat spell, level limitations do not apply.

What kind of environment the boss is located at, including lighting and background music, based on your preferences?
Beyond deaths door, same environment. Large chains of fate holding the platform we fight on. You wouldn't want to fight me if you had epilepsy as there would be many light and dark mechanics, strobe like effects. In the background there would be Dubstep music, with the mechanics following the beat of the music.
How about the attacks, mechanics and phases the boss would have based on what kind of person you are and what you like to do?
Multiphase solo boss fight, uses all 3 combat styles. Have to have music on to anticipate the patterns of the fight.
Intro:
Environment only, starts slow and builds up to rots style speed with umbra like darkness hitting a pattern of tiles hard.
The Drop:
With flashes, clones and I drop into the area attacking you from all directions, and darkness hitting patterns in the tiles. Have to figure out which is the correct version, and attack that one. Designed to be a bullet-hell.
Beat down section:
As you are clearing up the clones section everything, the attacks and darkness/lightness fades. And then out of nowhere, I return to melee the hell out of you. High speed heavy hits. This phase lasts for a random amount of time/hp.
The surprise:
Everything stops for a moment. You are back in deaths office but death isn't there, all of the green hourglasses are emptying quickly and turning red, suddenly the hourglass you are standing on turns red and drops you. You are now in darkness, tiles become charged with legion style lightning that lets you see what is around it, but stuns you if you are standing in it. You have to manipulate the lightning in the same way you do at legions to illuminated me, as I am only attack-able in the light. Meanwhile you are taking magic hits from me.
What would the boss possibly drop?
"The Bass" ofcourse
