Do you prefer Anarchy or Democracy, and why? What is your personal difference between the two? Please don't tell me what the yahoo users or wikipedia think.

I made a strawpoll, with option to choose dictatorship too (right-wing is on the uprise at the moment in europe, with more people wanting that)

Without getting too into this, my opinion is that humans work as one giant organism, we all depend on each other on a daily basis. So therefore i believe a democracy is the only way to go. the sad thing is though, people dont realize how much say we actually have living in a democracy. such a small fraction actually participate in voting in most countries, if more people got involved with government affairs, i think the world would be a 'slightly' better place.

edit; also i believe technocracy has its advantages too, i havent read much about it but i think there should definitely be more scientists involved with the government.

actually most people don't even understand politics and things they are voting for. If they actually took the time to get educated on things then yes it could get better, but most people know barely anything and would end up hurting everything.

Well I think there are no perfect forms of government. They could all function properly, but people will stuff them all up. The form of government that takes that most into account should be considered 'best' in my books. What form is that? No idea, and I don't claim to know.
