My stance on this has always been that if it causes addiction, it's a 'drug' (ignoring the nuances of the word). Addiction can be defined, among others, as 1) something which causes a dependence, 2) (by extension) something which causes withdrawal symptoms upon cessation. All of the listed examples fall under these definitions (with the exception of caffeine, which only causes withdrawal symptoms. So technically...yes!
