I agree. No support for up/downvoting crap. It's just a popularity contest and shitty memes and people getting drops always get upvoted, while meaningful ideas and content is just downvoted to hell.

What a load of crap.

Hydrix for true trim? That would need 2.5 MILLION posts , and so far nobody has even broken the 250k barrier.

Just letting people spam for some coloured pixel gem isn't going to make the forums healthier or more interesting. While I wouldn't care if the Get Max Post Count threads came back, I think the gaps between each forum gem should be drastically reduced as I've suggested before. Hydrix should really only be 500K posts, if that..... maybe even 100K.


I remember one of the web team JMods saying they made it so high so no one would achieve it, if that's the case, why even bother making them? Who cares if someone, or multiple forumers unlock the highest gem....




Tl;dr - Support for thread return and to reduce the 2.5M post count req for hydrix to 500K or 100K

Agreed. People will form groups and always upvote each others' shit to get the appearance of being the respectable and likeable people and in some systems that would also give them greater power in down voting people they don't like. Always gets abused.

@Cyanid - I think the only way a response will happen on this thread by Lee/Meadows is if this gets mentioned on the HLF report thread, or someone makes a max post count thread where people have to have a qfc link to this thread in each post lol.
